What to send with it
The more specific, the faster we solve it. If you can, include:
- Your phone and system version — for example, "Galaxy Note 20, Android 13" or "iPhone 13, iOS 18".
- Where in the app it happened: Home, Accounts, Schedule or Tools.
- What you did, what you expected and what happened — in that order, one sentence each.
- A screenshot, if the problem can be seen.
- How many accounts were connected, if the problem is about accounts or slowness.
The technical report
The app keeps a report of what happened inside it. It is the most useful thing you can send us when something simply doesn't work.
To open it: tap the three dots "⋯" in the top right corner and, at the bottom of the panel that opens, tap seven times on the "ZappyDue" line with the version number. A "Technical report" item appears under Support. You can take a photo of the text or select and copy it.
It lives only in the phone's memory, disappears when the app is closed, and is never sent on its own — it only reaches us if you send it.
Accounts and chats
An account disconnected by itself
WhatsApp signs out linked devices that go unused for a long time, and also when you remove them under "Linked devices". Just scan the QR code again from the affected account.
The app got slow with several accounts
Each connected account is a whole WhatsApp Web session alive in memory. On phones with less memory, keeping many accounts open at once is heavy. Accounts beyond what the phone can handle are put on hold, without losing the session, and come back when you open them.
The call button doesn't work on Android
This is a limitation of Android's web component, not of ZappyDue: WhatsApp Web calls depend on a shared-memory feature that it doesn't offer to any app. On iPhone, calls work.
On iPhone, no message alert arrives while the phone is locked
This is an iOS limit, and it is expected. The new message alert depends on the app being up: with ZappyDue open it arrives, and for a short time after you leave it. With the iPhone locked, don't count on it. Messages keep arriving normally in your accounts — you see them when you come back. Schedule reminders are a different thing and arrive at the set time regardless, because the system itself delivers them.
On iPhone, the first letter doesn't go back to uppercase after sending
A known limitation, and not ZappyDue's: the Shift key state belongs to the iOS keyboard session, which is not re-evaluated while the text field stays the same. The first message starts with a capital letter; the next ones don't, until the keyboard closes and opens again.
The emoji picker search doesn't open the keyboard
That's on purpose. On a phone, opening the keyboard resizes the page and WhatsApp Web moves the focus back to the message field — which would close the emoji panel at once. We prefer the panel open and browsable to a search that closes itself. Scroll and tap the emoji, GIF or sticker.
Schedule and reminders
The reminder didn't go off
Check, in this order: whether notifications are allowed for ZappyDue in the system settings; whether the appointment has a reminder set (under "Remind me" you can choose not to be reminded); and whether the time has already passed — in that case it is in the Overdue tab, it hasn't disappeared.
I added an appointment and it isn't under "Today"
The four tabs sort by time, not by creation order: Today has what is still to happen today, Upcoming what is on another day, Overdue what is past its time and Completed what you have already marked as done. An appointment created for a time that has already passed starts in Overdue.
Tools
I lost my quick replies, drafts or QR codes
They are kept on the phone, not in an account of ours: there is no login, so there is no syncing between phones. Changing phones or uninstalling the app takes everything with it. Before changing phones, copy whatever matters.
Do the tools work without a connected account?
Yes. The schedule, reminders, quick replies, drafts, QR codes and text tools don't depend on any WhatsApp account — and they stay at hand even without an active subscription. What the subscription unlocks is the Accounts area.
The reply assistant asks for consent
That's expected. The first time you generate a suggestion, the app asks for your consent to send the text you entered to an artificial intelligence service operated by Cloudflare. You can withdraw it at any time under "Assistant consent", in the settings. The assistant is a feature of the Frota plan.
Deleting your data
Remove the account inside the app and its session is deleted. Your own data — appointments, reminders, quick replies, drafts and QR codes — also stays only on the phone, and is deleted along with the app when you uninstall it. The content of your chats never leaves your phone, so there is nothing to delete about it elsewhere. The little subscription data handled outside the phone, and how to request its deletion, are in the Privacy Policy (official version in Portuguese).
